Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to peruse my website and learn more about the human behind the bling! My name is Elise Lopez and I create jewelry with metal.

For years, my path was shaped by my love for the natural world. I studied environmental science and psychology before spending years working with animals—first as a ranch hand at a horse rescue in the Colorado foothills, and later caring for animals at an animal hospital. I have always found my deepest solitude in nature.

In 2020, being immunocompromised shifted my world. Living with autoimmune diseases is a rollercoaster, and the pandemic put my life and priorities into perspective. In April 2021, I took the leap: I left my job to pursue art full-time.

My drive comes from those who came before me. As a woman of Yaqui, Rarámuri, Mexican, and Spanish descent, my work is a tribute to that rich cultural heritage. When I’m not in my studio on Colorado’s Western Slope, you can find me back in nature with my pack of dogs.

Thank you for being here. Your support allows me to honor my body’s need for rest while still sharing my energy with you beautiful souls.

With love, Elise

Remember to keep nature close and wear your bling!
